In the academic year program, students must complete nine weeks of class offered in one and two-week units, usually comprising seven courses. The list of courses from eight previous editions of the American Law Program in Cracow (2000-2008).
Students take a three-credit course in Legal Reasoning and Writing designed to provide a broad introduction to the American legal system, skill in American legal analysis, and the ability to demonstrate that knowledge and skill in practice-related objective and persuasive writing. In addition, students may elect to take a substantive law course offered in CUA's summer session or to write a 25-40 page scholarly paper.
